Terms of Service
Last updated: 4th March 2025
1. Acceptance of Terms
By utilising our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please peruse them carefully. Should you disagree with any part, you must refrain from using our services. For instance, if you disagree with our data handling policies, you cannot proceed with using our platform.
2. Use of Services
Employ our services responsibly and lawfully. Do not disrupt our services or attempt unauthorised access. For example, do not engage in activities such as denial-of-service attacks or attempting to bypass our security measures.
- Access to our systems without authorisation is strictly prohibited. For instance, attempting to gain access to administrative panels without proper credentials, using brute-force attacks to guess passwords, or exploiting software vulnerabilities to gain unauthorised entry is a violation.
- Ensure your use complies with all applicable laws and regulations. For example, if you are using our services to transmit data, ensure you adhere to data protection regulations like the GDPR or the UK Data Protection Act 2018, and also comply with any relevant intellectual property laws when uploading or sharing content.
3. Seraph Token Security (Discord Account Disclaimer)
Your Discord account is managed independently and is not directly associated with our services. However, your Seraph tokens, which grant access to our specific features, are crucial to secure. You are solely responsible for all actions performed using your Seraph tokens. Immediately notify us of any suspected unauthorised access or usage of your Seraph tokens. For instance, if you notice unusual activity associated with your Seraph token, such as unexpected requests to our API, contact us at once.
- Never share your Seraph tokens with anyone. These are highly sensitive credentials. For example, do not paste your token into public forums, share it via direct messages, or reveal it during screen-sharing sessions. Avoid storing tokens in easily accessible locations like plain text files.
- Be vigilant against phishing attempts. Do not enter your Seraph tokens into any third-party websites or applications, even if they claim to be related to our services, unless explicitly instructed by our official support channels. For example, if you receive an email claiming to be from us asking for your token, verify it through our official support channels using contact information found on our official website, not through links provided in the suspicious email. Examine URLs carefully for subtle misspellings that indicate phishing attempts.
- If you suspect your Seraph tokens have been compromised, contact us immediately. We can assist in revoking and issuing new tokens. For example, if you accidentally clicked a suspicious link and entered your token, or if you suspect someone has accessed your computer remotely, let us know so we can promptly mitigate any potential damage and prevent further unauthorised access.
- Remember, while we prioritise the security of Seraph tokens, the security of your Discord account itself (password, 2FA, etc.) remains your sole responsibility. Discord's security guidelines should be followed for your Discord accounts. For instance, ensure you have a strong, unique password for your Discord account, enable two-factor authentication using an authenticator app, and regularly review your Discord security settings.
- We will never ask you for your Discord credentials. We only require the Seraph token we provide to you. For instance, be wary of any communication requesting your Discord password, email address, or phone number. Be suspicious of any requests for personal information that seem unusual or out of context.
4. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for indirect damages. Our services are provided "as is," and we do not guarantee accuracy or completeness. For example, we are not responsible for any lost profits, consequential damages arising from the use of our services, or any damages resulting from reliance on information provided through our platform.
- Services are provided without guarantees. For example, we do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements. We do not guarantee that our services will be compatible with all hardware or software configurations.
- We are not responsible for data loss or service interruptions. For example, if a server outage results in the loss of your data, or if a software bug causes data corruption, we are not liable for any resulting losses, including financial losses or loss of productivity. We also are not liable for outages caused by third party services we depend on.
5. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions. Your continued use signifies your acceptance of any changes. We will notify you of significant updates. For instance, we might send an email to your registered address or post a prominent notice on our website about major changes to the terms, providing a summary of the key updates.
- Review these terms periodically. For example, it is advisable to check for updates every few months, especially before making significant use of our services or when we announce updates. Pay attention to any highlighted changes or summaries of revisions.
- Changes are effective immediately. For example, if we update the terms today, they will apply to your use of our services from today onwards, even if you have not explicitly acknowledged the changes. Ensure you understand the implications of any updates before continuing to use our platform.
