Terms of Service

Authentication is handled via Discord OAuth. We do not receive or store your Discord password. You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your Discord account secure.

Some features require an API token issued by us. You must keep these tokens confidential and not share them publicly. If you believe a token has been compromised, contact us so we can revoke it.

You agree not to:

• scrape, mirror, or bulk-download data from the Service in a way that circumvents our rate limits or caches;
• resell, relicense, or redistribute data obtained from the Service without written permission;
• attempt to bypass authentication, impersonate another user, or access accounts or data that do not belong to you;
• interfere with the Service's normal operation, including via denial-of-service attacks or exploitation of vulnerabilities;
• use the Service to harass individuals, coordinate targeted harassment, or evade the Hypixel Server Rules or Discord's Terms of Service;
• use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.

If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it to us privately via our Discord before disclosing it publicly.

The Service displays data from third parties, including the Hypixel public API, Minecraft profile services, and avatar rendering services. We do not own this data and make no representations about its accuracy, timeliness, or completeness. Third-party services may change or become unavailable at any time.

Seraph maintains a community-driven blacklist of suspected cheaters on Hypixel. Inclusion on the blacklist reflects our editors' judgement based on submitted evidence and is not a formal accusation of wrongdoing. We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove entries at our discretion. If you believe you have been listed in error, contact us via Discord to request a review.

The Seraph name, logo, and site design are our property. You may not use them to imply endorsement or affiliation without permission. Data from Hypixel and Mojang remains the property of its respective owners. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Studios; Seraph is not affiliated with Mojang Studios, Microsoft, or Hypixel Inc.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. You may stop using the Service at any time by revoking Seraph's access in your Discord authorised apps.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data displayed is accurate. You use the Service at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Seraph and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to USD $50.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes we will post a notice on the site. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
